Channel Partners

Why Connect with Bookeasy?

Bookeasy is a destination management and booking platform used by destinations, visitor information centres, parks, property managers and tourism operators.

A channel partner integration enables participating operators to connect their existing technology with Bookeasy, reducing manual updates and helping keep booking information consistent across platforms.

Whether you are developing a channel manager, property management system or another tourism technology solution, we can help determine whether a Bookeasy integration is suitable for your platform and customers.

Channel managers connecting to Bookeasy gain access to a distribution network that reaches:

  • Hundreds of regional Visitor Centres and DMOs across Australia
  • National Parks booking centres and gateway communities
  • Operator direct-booking pages powered by Bookeasy’s booking engine
  • Public booking gadgets embedded on destination and operator websites

If your platform manages accommodation or tour inventory in regional Australia or New Zealand, connecting to Bookeasy means your operators’ rates and availability flow in real time to the regional distribution network they depend on.

What Can Be Integrated?

The Bookeasy Web Services API uses a Push/Pull model — your system can both read current data from Bookeasy and push live updates back into it. The API covers all core inventory management functions.

Rates

Per-room daily rates including rack rate, extra adult/child costs, minimum nights, last-minute flags, and stop sell.

Availability

Number of rooms available to book per room type per date.

Stop Sell

Flag individual dates or date ranges as closed to new bookings.

Rate Packages

Special deal structures — e.g. Stay 7 nights, pay 5; early bird discounts; repeatable promotional rates with day-of-week and date-range exclusions.

Room Details

Room configuration data, facilities, room descriptions, and images.

Booking Notifications

Receive live booking data without needing to poll, as real-time booking notification is pushed (new booking, modification, or cancellation). Notification delivery supports GET or POST, custom HTTP headers, optional authentication, SOAP envelope wrapping, and response validation.

How the integration process works

Initial discussion

Tell us about your platform, customers and intended integration. We will review the use case and help confirm the appropriate scope.

Partnership agreement

Before development begins, the relevant channel partner and commercial agreements must be completed.

Technical onboarding

Once approved, Bookeasy Support will provide you with an API login and a test operator account to begin your integration. Full gadget documentation is available on this website to guide your development.

Development and internal testing

Your development team builds the integration and tests the required workflows using the Bookeasy test environment and test operator.

Pre-certification

Before submitting the integration to Bookeasy, your team completes the pre-certification requirements and confirms that all applicable functions have been tested successfully.

Bookeasy certification

The Bookeasy team reviews and tests the integration, including the handling of rates, availability, minimum nights and booking notifications included within the agreed scope. You will have to fill out the certification form here.

Go live

Once certification has been successfully completed, production access can be enabled and eligible Bookeasy operators can begin connecting to your platform.

Ongoing maintenance and support

Both parties continue to support their respective systems. Channel partners are responsible for maintaining their integration and ensuring it continues to meet Bookeasy’s technical and security requirements.
