Operator Categories

Click on Operator Categories under the Administration heading of the main menu.  **Please note, Operator Categories are also referred to as Operator Types**

Points of interest regarding Operator Categories;

Operators can be grouped into customised Operator Categories

Each operator can be allocated up to 4 different Operator Categories

Operators can be searched for by their Operator Category

Operator Category searches can be setup on the website

View the List of Standard Operator Types
Bookeasy has Standard Operator Types that can be used to organise operators.  Follow these steps to view the list of Standard Operator Types;
 

1.Click on Operator Categories in the Administration section of the main menu. The Operator Type screen will be displayed.
 

2.Click on Click Here to View a List of Standard Operator Types. A list of Bookeasy Standard Operator Types will be displayed. The table will list the Operator Type ID and Operator Categories.
 

3.Click on Click here to go back to the Operator Types List at the bottom of the table to return to the Operator Type Screen

 

 

View the List Operator Types Currently Setup
Follow these steps to view a list of Operator Types that are already setup in your console.

 

1.Click on Operator Categories in the Administration Section of the main menu. The Operator Type screen will be displayed

 

2.Click on Click Here to View a List of My Operator Types. A list of the Operator Types you have setup will be displayed. The table will list the Operator Type ID and Operator Types as well as the Standard Description of each Operator Type

 

3.Click on Click here to go back to the Operator Types List at the bottom of the table to return to the Operator Type Screen

 

Please refer to this list if you need to setup new Operator Types to find a unique Operator Type ID.
 

Add a New Operator Type
 
1. Click on Operator Categories in the Administration Section of your console. The Operator Type screen will be displayed.
 

2. Click on Add New Item. The Add Operator Types screen will be displayed.
 

3. Click on the Operator Type field. A drop down menu will be displayed with a list of available Operator Types to choose from.
 

4. Click on the Operator Type you wish to add in the drop down menu then click on Save. The Operator Type screen will be displayed and the new Operator Type will be included in your list of Operator Types.
 

Edit an Operator Type
 
1. Click on Operator Categories in the Administration Section of your console. The Operator Type screen will be displayed.
 
2. Click on the Select Operator Type field. A drop down menu with a list of the Operator Categories that have been setup.
 
3. Click on the Operator Category you wish to edit in the drop down menu. The Operator Type details will be displayed to edit.
 
4. Make the changes required and click on Save at the bottom of the page.

Allocate an Operator Types to Operators
Once you Operator Types have been set up, up to 4 can be allocated to all operators that your centre is the Mothership for;

 

1.Click on Search under the Operator's Details section of the main menu
 

2.Enter all or part of the Operators name, click Perform Search or press enter
 

3.Click on the name of the operator to enter the Edit Operator screen
 

4.Scroll about half way down the screen to below the Google Map where the 4 Operator Type drop down boxes appear
 

5.Use the drop down arrow to allocate up to 4 different relevant categories to your operator if applicable
 

6.Press Save at the bottom of the screen

 

Setup an Operator Type Search page
Operator Types can be used to create operator search pages on your website.

Add an Image to an Operator Search page
One image (or multiple images created into one image) can be added to an operator search page.
