Overview

 

Bookeasy allows you to create Specials for further flexibility regarding selling your product. Specials can be applied to one or multiple room types and rate plans and offer a myriad of options in which to discount your rates.

 

The use of specials is imperative to obtaining a higher occupancy rate during low seasons, as well as attracting new clientele. Utilising this feature will ensure that you are offering the most competitive rates while securing more bookings and a greater revenue in the process.

 

Specials Icons

 

Bookeasy offers you the ability to create the below Specials;

 

Stay Pay - Stay Pay specials offer your guests a free night stay when they book a specified number of nights. For example, a Stay 3 Pay 4 deal would see your guests stay for 4 nights, while only paying for 3, resulting the guest guest receiving a free night’s stay.

 

Amount Discount - Amount Discounts can be applied to any rate where you are able to offer your guests a dollar discount when either traveling during a pre-defined season, or making the booking during a particular period.

 

Percentage Discount - Percentage Discounts can be applied to any rate where you are able to offer your guests a percentage discount off your daily rates, when either traveling during a pre-defined season, or making the booking during a particular period.

Navigating to the Specials section

 

There are 3 ways to navigate to the Specials section from your Bookeasy Rooms Console;

Main Menu

How to Create a Stay Pay Special        special-spy

Note that this is not to be confused with Travel Dates. For example, should you set your Booking Date as 8 November, this special will not appear online until the 8th November.

Specials and Channel Managers

 

Specials have been designed to work with all Channel Managers that currently have a connection to the Bookeasy system. No further action is required past creating the specials in your Bookeasy member console.

 

The specials created in Bookeasy will be applied to the rates that are sent from your Channel Manager - Meaning that if you have created a 20% discount on your 2 night rate line, if the channel manager sends $200 per night to Bookeasy, the rate will be discounted to $180 per night when bookings are made for the criteria of the special.
