Follow Up Flag

Reservations in the List of Reservations screen can be Flagged for Follow Up.  This feature is a great tool to assist Booking Centre staff to manage their reservations.  Reservations may be flagged for such things as;

 

Payment reminders i.e. Itinerary 1234567 balance is due in 2 weeks

Itinerary 7654321 will come in tomorrow to collect their tickets, reminder to have them ready

Tour operator will call back tomorrow to advise if charter is going ahead

Accommodation operator will call back this afternoon to confirm rollaway bed

 

If a Follow Up Flag is added to a booking, it should be accompanied by Notes to explain what the Follow Up is for.

How to Add a Follow Up Flag

1.Click on Reservations to display the List of Reservations screen

2.Search for the Reservation

3.Click on the grey flag icon to the right hand side, next to the relevant booking, under the Action column . The Flag/Unflag Booking box will pop up;

4.Enter the required Flag date or choose it by clicking on the calendar

5.Click Submit

 

The itinerary screen will now display, showing the Follow Up date in red text under the relevant booking;

When looking at this reservation again in the List of Reservations screen, the Follow Up Flag will display next to the relevant booking;

Coloured Follow Up Flags

There are two different coloured Follow Up Flags displayed in the List of Reservations screen;

 

Green Flag - indicates the booking has been flagged for follow up for a date in the future

Red Flag - indicates the bookings has been flagged for follow up for today, the follow up date has arrived or is over due i.e. flagged date has passed

How to Remove a Follow Up Flag

1.Click on Reservations to display the List of Reservations screen

2.Search for the Reservation

3.Click on the grey flag icon to the right hand side, next to the relevant booking, under the Action column . The Flag/Unflag Booking box will pop up;

4.Click Clear Flag.

 

The itinerary screen will now display, showing the Flag Cleared date in red text under the relevant booking;
