Bookeasy and the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW) have been working tirelessly behind the scenes to allow Visitor Information and Tourism Centres the ability to update their member's listings with ATDW data.
With this new partnership, a destination powered by Bookeasy has the empowerment to manage an Operator’s data listed on their website with that imported from ATDW.
“Both ATDW and Bookeasy recognise the importance of streamlining content across multiple channels to ensure a consistent user experience and avoid any replicating of information. As a result Bookeasy can now absorb all applicable content from an ATDW listing such as Product Name, Description, Contact Information & Location, Facilities and Images. These Tourism Products are then proactively booked nationwide by Visitor Information Centre staff and through regional tourism websites,” said Mark Williams, CEO of ATDW.
The Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW) is a central content and distribution platform for the Australian tourism industry. The database is made up of over 35,000 tourism product listings which are available for publication across ATDW's multi-channel distribution network.
ATDW benefits Tourism Operators by providing a cost effective solution to increasing their digital distribution and online exposure, and provides Travel Distributors with rich, flexible content in a central database to easily populate their websites.
Bookeasy Booking Centre Staff Consoles currently include part of this functionality, with substantial improvements and additions to be implemented in the coming weeks. See ATDW Operator Import for further instrcutions reagdring how to use this feature.
