Setting Up Retail Printer

The Bookeasy Retail system can be integrated with LAPOS hardware if required;

LAPOS Thermal Docket Printer

LAPOS Cash Drawer

LAPOS Laser Barcode Scanner

 

The hardware setup will need to be carried out by an IT Network Technician and is to be arrange by the Booking Centre.

This has not been tested with the draw kickback option.

How To Install Printer

1.Open up the “Printers and Faxes” dialog box by click on Start -> Control Panel -> Printers and Faxes.

2.Click on Add a printer.

3.The Add Printer Wizard dialog box will be displayed.

4.Click Next

5.Ensure that “Local printer attached to this computer” is chosen.

6.Remove the tick from “Automatically detect and install my Plug and Play printer” as below.

7.Click Next.

8.Ensure that LPT1 is showing and click Next.

9.Click Have Disk.

10.The “Install From Disk” dialog box will appear.

11.Insert the driver CD and type in the directory to where the files are in the box.

12.Click OK.

13.Choose the correct printer and click Next.

14.Enter the Printer name and click Next.

15.Click Next on the Printer Sharing section.

16.Choose No and click Next then Finish.

17.The following will be displayed. Click Continue Anyway.

18.Right click on the printer and choose Properties from the menu.

19.Change the Receipt tray to Reserved48 and click OK.

20.Open up Internet Explorer and click on File and choose Page Setup.

21.In the Page Setup dialog box change the setting as below.

22.Click on Printer.

23.Make sure that the receipt printer is chosen and click OK twice.
